The night the Glow Team met the Go Team to warm the hearts on a dark cold night in Leicester.

Goths and shoe gazing indie emo’s will not like the Go Team cos they are too damn colourful and happy. And when your tunes are influenced by ZX Spectrum games, Sesame Street and Salt n Peppa you ain’t gonna be trying to put the world to rights or – more importantly moaning about it !

No its good clean happy, dancy, loving fun and that’s why there was a full contingent from Peace and Love and a few friends to share the experience.

Leaning heavily on Plumbton’s favourite album- Thunder Lightning Strike they gave us complete musical delight – it was a blur of dancing, happy tunes, colour , lager , red bull n vodka, glow sticks and down right fun. Tracks such as the Ice Storm, Thunder Flash and Bottle Rocket were a delight in this smallish venue.

Sorry for not providing a longer review but like everyone else I was too busy enjoying myself.

In the words of Zane Lowe – I urge you to see this band, I doubt many people from Monday would disagree.
