There are loads of new bands playing across 3 stages but the real attraction is the tribute band stage which this year sees the following line up.
Friday brings American rock vs Britpop. Sadly we aren’t promised a fight onstage so instead you get Four Fighters and the Fillers vs Blurb and Oashish. Saturday is billed as bands of the 80s and features tributes to Duran Duran, Dire Straits, Guns n Roses, Queen, Blondie and Status Quo. Closing the event is the International Superstars day featuring Simple Minds, Coldplay, Stereophonics, Madness, Kings of Leon and Green Day tributes. Whilst some of these acts play every year there is a commendable amount of new entries to keep things fresh this time out.
With its policy of cheaper food, real ales, lots of space and friendly vibe this year promises to be as good as ever. The advice is if you still want a ticket, hurry up
