Well as everyone who dosn’t live on Mars, and possibly Droitwich, know its the premier event in the heavy metal and hard rock fans calender this weekend. Despite the worthy competition of other festivals, notably Sonisphere, Download is still the market leader in this field. This year sees the 30th birthday of the event and many bands who have played there over the past 3 decades have been invited back this year. To pay our own little tribute to the longevity of the event in its various guises, we have put together a playlist for you which you can access through the excellent Spotify.
