For those of you who don’t know, Setlist FM is a website which compiles setlists from all major shows around the world. How great is that? What is even better is you can edit or add them to their site. So no point complaining that a gig you have been to isn’t on their site just log in and do it yourself. Peace and Love likes audience participation, likes Setlist FM and will now be using the site to provide setlists for all gig reviews. If a reviewed gig isn’t on their list we will return the favour by adding it for them. Which is nice. Find out more at their official site
The Rock Am Ring Festival takes place at the Nurburgring Racing Circuit in Germany. This year’s event takes place over the weekend 4th to 6th June, making it one of the earliest big festivals in Europe. The bias at this festival is hard rock and metal, a fact born out this year with the only act being confirmed so far as Rammstein. There is a decent amount of other music mixed in with the metal though and Muse are one of the main rumours for this year. If you fancy it, tickets cost 140 euros (£126) and more details can be found on the very snazzy official site, as time draws nearer – it’s in advert mode at the moment.
Well you didn’t think they would open in the Peel tent did you? Apparently Mr Eavis has been after their services for a good few years and has now finally succeeded. So come Friday evening, expect a whole host of classics, plus a fair chunk of so so newest album, ‘No line on the Horizon’, plus a sermon or two from Bono. Mmm, wonder if we will see him in the Leftfield during the course of the Day. Find out more from our friends at the NME
